Welcome to the Farmington Canal Heritage Trail reference and resources

Welcome to the Farmington Canal Heritage Trail reference and resources

Thank you for visiting our custom-developed collection of resources for the Farmington Canal Heritage Trail and Farmington River Trail.

Our site is designed with the latest “responsive” Web technology, for good viewing on just about any type of desktop computer or mobile device.

We’re particularly proud of our specially created digital map that includes both a Farmington Canal Heritage map and a Farmington River Trail map in one convenient, scrollable, zoomable, GPS-enabled, fast-loading, mobile-friendly map.  Depending on your mobile device and cell and GPS connections, the map is designed to auto-scroll to keep your location centered on the map.  It’s pretty cool.

This Web site is a community-supporting project of Remarkable Technologies, Inc., a 24-year-old Connecticut company (located in the Farmington Valley) that devotes a substantial portion of its resources to pubic projects like this one.  We are avid bicycle riders, runners, and supporters of our region’s fine rail-to-trail system.

We hope you enjoy this resource as much as we enjoyed putting it together for you.  It is a work in progress.  Stay tuned for regular enhancements.  🙂

Sincerely,

Remarkable Technologies, Inc.
